The ESOL teacher will support EL scholars at both schools by leading small-group intervention classes, as well as pushing into the
students’ general education classrooms for additional in-class support for English Language Learners. The ESOL teacher will also
provide professional development to classroom teachers to help them develop and implement strategies for ELLs.
After school tutors will help students develop study skills and organization techniques to help improve their academic performance. In addition to the academic component, tutors are responsible for supervising groups of students, providing discipline and serving as a role model.
After school aides monitor student activity so that the primary teacher is not overwhelmed with responsibility. This mightinclude helping students with homework, Aides should help keep students on task so they can finish their work in the time assigned. This might require going over instructions with students, mediating disagreements, and reminding students to quiet down or pay closer attention.

Provides direct instruction to students identified as eligible for Math or ELA services in individual, and/or small group settings. Uses identified needs to guide the learning process toward student achievement of district’s math content standards. Establishes clear objectives for all lessons, units and projects using formal and informal assessment data obtained from students to track each individual student’s progress and learning needs. Helps shape and develop a school wide culture that fosters a productive and enthusiastic learning environment for each student. Communicates students’ progress with student and family on a weekly basis. Implements a clear and consistent behavior management system that aligns to campus- wide initiatives while developing students’ character and sense of community in the classroom.
Advancement staff work a 12-month calendar 8:30 am-5:30 pm and have separate benefits.There are no current Advancement Office positions available. Please check back soon.
